The Philips Arena is an indoor arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Completed in 1999 at a cost of $213.5 million, it is home to the Atlanta Thrashers of the NHL, the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA and Arena Football League’s Georgia Force. It is owned and operated by Atlanta Spirit, LLC, the group of investors that also owns the Hawks and Thrashers. The arena seats 20,300 for basketball and 18,750 for ice hockey. It includes 96 luxury suites and 2,100 club seats. For concerts and other entertainment events, the arena can seat 21,000. (courtesy Wikipedia)

Philips Arena Parking, Atlanta Hawks Parking Information and Tips
Parking is available in the various lots around the arena including the CNN Decks and Centennial Garage located on Centennial Olympic Park Drive across from the arena. CNN Decks and Centennial Garage may also be entered from Spring Street. Accessible parking is available in both lots. Parking is also available at the Philips Arena lot on Park Avenue West (formally Foundry Street). Take Marietta Street southbound. Turn left onto Park Avenue West. At the fork bear to the right and proceed ahead. The Philips Arena / Alright Lot is located on the left. This lot will accommodate buses and large vans. Driving and parking are sometimes a hassle. Take MARTA to the Omni/Dome station, the first stop on the West Line after Five Points (your transfer point if coming from the North or South lines).
